Information we handle
NextPitch does not currently require an account. Saved teams and appearance preferences are stored on your device or in your browser. If you enable score notifications in the iOS app, NextPitch stores an Apple push-notification token and the teams you selected so it can send relevant score alerts. NextPitch does not sell personal information or use advertising trackers.
When you use the app or website, our hosting provider may process routine technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, device or browser type, request time, requested page, and diagnostic logs. If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send.
Purchases
Paid iOS features are processed by Apple through StoreKit. NextPitch receives subscription status and transaction identifiers needed to unlock or restore access, but does not receive your full payment-card details. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy policy and account terms.
How information is used
- Provide schedules, saved-team features, rankings, and projections.
- Send score notifications you choose to enable for saved teams.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
- Respond to support, privacy, or legal requests.
- Verify and restore subscription access.
Service providers and data sources
NextPitch relies on service providers such as Apple for purchases and Cloudflare for hosting, security, databases, and operational logs. They process information only as needed to provide their services and under their respective terms. Schedule, club, venue, and result information may originate from third-party public or licensed data sources.
Retention, deletion, and choices
Device preferences remain until you remove them, clear browser storage, or delete the app. Push-notification tokens and saved-team notification selections remain until you disable score notifications, and invalid tokens are removed when Apple reports that they no longer work. Support messages and operational logs are retained only as reasonably needed for support, security, recordkeeping, and legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided by emailing matt@nextpitch.win. Removing locally saved teams also updates their notification selections the next time the app connects.
Children
NextPitch is designed for families and soccer followers but is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information should contact us so it can be reviewed and removed.
Security and international use
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards and law.
Terms of Use
Using NextPitch
You may use NextPitch for personal, lawful purposes. You may not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, misuse automated access, copy or resell substantial portions of the service, or use it to violate another person’s rights.
Schedules, rankings, and projections
Schedules, locations, scores, rankings, and projections may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Always confirm match details with your club or competition organizer. Rankings and projections are statistical estimates for informational and entertainment purposes; they are not guaranteed outcomes and should not be used for wagering or high-stakes decisions.
Subscriptions
NextPitch may offer an annually renewing Pro subscription through Apple. The price and billing period are shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and the subscription renews unless canceled through Apple before renewal. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Access continues for the paid period, subject to Apple’s refund policies and applicable law.
Ownership and third-party rights
NextPitch owns its original software, design, written content, and statistical presentation. Team names, competition names, logos, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. NextPitch is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Major League Soccer or MLS NEXT.
Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We may correct, update, suspend, or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, NextPitch is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update this document as the service changes. Material updates will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law. Questions may be sent to matt@nextpitch.win.
